Phee Brown

Singing is second nature to home grown Philadelphia artist Phee Brown. She has been a performer since the young age of four and is known to entertain amongst any group of people. It comes naturally, her Father and his Brothers sang together in a gospel group. She is not a stranger to the world of performing arts. She attended the prestigious Freedom Theatre and Settlement Music School in Philadelphia, PA.

Phee Brown has quite the musical resume which spans across several areas to include acting in stage plays, musicals, singing in musical groups as well as performing at music festivals and many events. She was also selected as the winner of the Apollo Theater Amateur Night and she went on to perform at Harlem’s legendary Apollo Theater. Phee has performed with several local bands, partnered with multiple musicians and sang behind several major music artist. She has also worked internationally touring in Morocco. Phee Brown has performed in numerous stage plays such as Real Woman Pray (Grand Opera House in Wilmington, DE), Dream Woman – Dream On (Pleasantville,NJ), Wonzapona Land, The Uptown, 3Divas3, and My Sisters Keeper (Paulsboro, NJ. She has had roles in multiple musicals with Off Broadway Productions to include Smokey Joe’s Café, Hair Spray and Little Shop of Horrors. Her musical performances include the Pennsylvania Convention Center, The Kimmel Center for Performing Arts, The Dell East, Unity Day,The Black Family Reunion, Thanksgiving Parade, Wachovia Center and Welcome America. Music is Phee’s passion. She believes that music touches the soul and can change the trajectory of any room. Phee’s inspiration comes from God and her family, especially her Mother. She accredits her musical influences and inspirations to some of the greats such as Patti LaBelle, Whitney Houston, Natalie Cole, Regina Belle, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and her favorite group of all time, New Edition.
