Angela Burton

Angela’s long history as a Professional Vocalist and Entertainer has led her to the successful release of her new debut album entitled, “Passion and Pain”. Her continuous mass appeal can best be explained in her own words…. “NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS!”

Discovered by the Late Harold Melvin – Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, Angela got her Professional start at 5. By signing in the front bar of the lauded Club Harlem in Atlantic City, eventually becoming the opener for all of the club’s most famous headliners such as: The Stylistics, Blue Magic, Teddy Pendergrass, Phyllis Hyman, The Dramatics, The Heatwave Band, Ray Goodman & Brown, the MAvelettes, The Shirelles, Pieces of a Dream, Stanley Turrentine, Buster Wiliams, Mandrill Band, War, Commodores, Eric Nolan of the O’Jay, The Whispers.

Angela performed background vocals for Melba Moore, Christopher Williams, Kathy Sledge – Sister Sledge, and Stuart Bascome – Lead Singer Black Ivory.

Angela performed for U.S. soldiers in 35 different countries while traveling with the United Services Organization, (USO), U.S. Department of Defense. From Korea to Cuba, her travels took her back and forth from her hometown in Atlantic City to locations around the globe singing for our troops. By inspiring the hearts of her community and their families in her hometown of Atlantic City, Ms. Burton was honored for her lifetime of work by receiving the 2016 Hometown Achievement Award and the Key to Atlantic City presented by Mayor Don Guardian in 2017. Additionally, Angela has performed for Mayor Frank Gilliam, Former Mayor Lorenzo Langford, Senator James Whelan, Mayor Donald A. Guardian, Governor McGreevey and the Ambassador of Panama.
